Basic Setup - Electric Guitars

Recommended for: 

• New guitars 

• Guitars with high action and/or intonation is off

• After every 5-10 string changes

• Guitars coming out of storage

• Guitars that just need a little TLC for a fresh start.

Includes:

• Inspect and tighten everything up

• Lubricate tuning machines, nut slots, bridge hardware

• Round off sharp fret edges

• String change

• Lock neck to body

• Check nut slot depth

• Set neck relief, action, and intonation

• Make recommendations for upgrades, services, and repairs not covered in Basic Setup. 

• Some upgrades are easier during setup while the guitar is already unstrung and taken apart.  Check to see if your specific upgrade plans can be included with setup and save money later.  This includes pre-fitted pickguards, bridge saddles, pickup covers, etc.

Premium Setup - Electric Guitars

$50 

Recommended for: 

• New guitars with bad factory setup

• Guitars with high action and/or intonation is off

• After every 10-15 string changes

• Guitars coming out of long term storage

• Guitars that have been exposed to significant temperature and humidity changes.

• Guitars that won't stay in tune or have annoying string buzz.

• Guitars that just need a complete workover.

Includes Basic Setup plus:

• Level and crown high frets

• Most hardware upgrades or replacements (Upgrades requiring new holes may have additional charges)

• Electronics repair and maintenance

• Polish frets/Condition fretboard

• Clean and polish entire guitar

• Make recommendations for upgrades, services, and repairs not covered in Premium Setup.

Extra Services 

• Full neck fret leveling and recrown - $75 

• Replace frets - $200 (Stainless Steel Frets +$50)

• Replace nut and/or Adjust nut slots - $75

• Shield cavities w/ copper tape, ground to jack - $50

• Neck Shim - $25

• Truss Rod nut repair - $50

**Some hardware upgrades will require new holes to be drilled in the neck or body.  Existing holes will need to be filled and exposed ones may not match original finish.
